Typhoon Lagoon is one of two water parks that are a part of Walt Disney World. And currently (post-pandemic), the only water park at Disney World that is open.

How tall do you have to be for Typhoon Lagoon?
There is no set height requirement to enter the water park. But there are a few height requirements for some of the rides.
All of the attractions with height requirements are set to 48″ (122 cm). With the exception of Bay Slides, which requires guests to be 60″ (152 cm) or smaller.
As Bay Slides is designed to be an attraction for younger children.
Is Typhoon Lagoon Good For Toddlers?
Yes, Typhoon Lagoon is good for toddlers. At Typhoon Lagoon, there are whole areas that are dedicated to the younger guests.
As well as plenty of calmer areas for them to enjoy the water with their parents.
Is Typhoon Lagoon Heated?
Yes, all the water parks at Disney World are heated. Making the water enjoyable regardless of the time of year that you visit.
However, it should be noted that if there is a major storm or a few days of really cold weather, Disney will shut down the water parks for everyone’s safety.
Is Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon Better For Little Kids?
Between Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, I would say that Typhoon Lagoon is better for younger children.
There is a bit more area dedicated to the younger guests, which makes it a better water park for them. However, the little ones can also have a lot of fun at Blizzard Beach.
Are There Free Towels at Typhoon Lagoon?
Walt Disney World Resort guests are able to use towels at Typhoon Lagoon for free. If you visit the water park at aren’t a Walt Disney World Resort guest then you will have to pay a small fee per towel.

How long are the wait times at Typhoon Lagoon?
Wait times for most rides at Typhoon Lagoon are about 5 to 15 minutes. This really isn’t bad for a wait for water rides, let alone a Disney ride!
During some peak summer hours, wait times can reach up to 30 minutes. This again isn’t too horrible. Guests can still enjoy all of the rides that they want.
The Wrap-Up: Typhoon Lagoon Height Requirements
Typhoon Lagoon is one of the best spots to not have to worry about Height Requirements.
There are only 4 rides that have height requirements, with 3 outta the 4 being actual requirements. The fourth one is a maximum height requirement because the area is designed for littler guests.
Making Typhoon Lagoon a great Disney destination for families of all sizes! Regardless of height, guests are bound to have a good time at Typhoon Lagoon.
