Universal Studios Orlando is again putting on a Mardi Gras festival that will beat years prior! This celebration will celebrate 30 years of Mardi Gras celebrations at Universal Studios Orlando! You won’t want to miss it. The theme for this year’s event is Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval.
Get ready to party beyond the bayou! Starting February 4th, head down to Universal Studios Orlando for a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras festival! This year guests can expect to experience incredible parades, live performances, and unique food options!
What To Expect At Universal Studios Mardi Gras
This year’s Mardi Gras event will hold all the same guest favorites while bringing in new and exciting features.
Guests can expect the same bright colorful costumed performers, live New Orleans band performances, an incredible parade, as well as live concerts.
Added this year is a wider variety of food options available to guests. This year, Universal has decided to expand the Cajun lineup to incorporate food from over 17 different counties and the Carnaval celebrations. As well as a variety of treats to enjoy.
Universal Studios Mardi Gras: Admission & Dates
Even though the Universal Studios Mardi Gras Festival is a special event, this one is included with the general admission ticket that you need to enter the park, which is a really great deal!
There is no need to purchase a special event ticket in order to enjoy these Mardi Gras Festivities.
Universal Studios Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval kicks off on February 1st and continues until March 30, 2025.
With festivities happening daily, there is plenty of time for you to get to Universal Studios and celebrate.
Universal Studios Mardi Gras: Live Concerts
Universal Studios’ Mardi Gras celebration is known for its live performances, which are a top guest favorite when visiting Universal Studios, Florida.
This year’s Mardi Gras Concert lineup has some incredible artists performing. Guests can expect to see performances from T-Pain, Joe Jonas, Scotty McCreery, Foster the People, and so many more!

Parades at Universal Studios Mardi Gras
The Mardi Gras parade, featuring twelve parade floats, can be enjoyed almost nightly at Universal Studios. The 30th anniversary parade will feature six new floats inspired by the Krewes*.
Listed below are the specific times and days the parades begin.
The Mardi Gras parade will start at 6:15 pm on the following nights: February 5 – 9, February 12 – 16, and February 26 – March 2.
At 7:30 pm on the following nights: February 17, February 20 – 24; March 3, March 6 – April 16.
And at 7:45 pm on the following nights: February 4, February 10 – 11, February 18 – 19, and March 4 – 5. These nights are also concert nights.
Note: There will be no parade on Friday, March 31.

Mardi Gras Float Riding:
For guests that wish to have a unique Mardi Gras experience, Universal Studios is offering an opportunity for guests to ride on select parade floats.
There are limited spots available for this experience, so it is best to reserve it as soon as possible! Be sure to also check out the requirements to ride on the parade float to make sure you can do it.
The requirements for being able to participate are as follows:
- Guest must be 18 years of age
- Guest must be 48 inches or taller
- Guest must be able to stand for the whole duration of the float
- Guests with disabilities can request accommodations 48 hours prior to the event.
- No smoking, drinking or eating while on the float
- No strollers or large bags will be permitted on the floats
Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience
Guests who wish to have the ultimate Mardi Gras experience can opt for the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience.
During this experience, guests will be allowed to book a 3-course meal at a participating restaurant and ride in a Mardi Gras Parade Float (on the same night).
This experience is back from previous years and is a unique way to really maximize your fun during the Flavors of Carnival at Universal Studios Orlando.

- Finnegan’s Bar & Grill

Universal Studios Mardi Gras: Savor Flavor
Nothing says Mardi Gras celebration like good authentic food! Universal Studios Mardi Gras is a great way to experience authentic and delicious food options.
This year Universal Studios is bringing Carnival food from around the world to showcase during the event.
There will be food (and beverages) from over 17 different counties that have Carnival celebrations! Some of these countries include, Canada, China, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Italy, and more!
The full Mardi Gras Savor Flavor Menu hasn’t been released, however, Universal has shown some of the treats that guests can expect to enjoy during the festivities.





Annual Passholders are able to purchase exclusive Mardi Gras Menu items during the Mardi Gras event.
