Who Am I?
My name is Red, it has been a lifelong nickname that just hasn’t gone away so I embrace it.
I am a California girl born and raised. I have lived all up and down the state of California from San Diego, to the Bay area, to the Sierra Nevadas. I have loved every area of the state, and enjoy exploring new areas I haven’t seen before.
I went to school originally for psychology and ended up falling in love with philosophy and religious studies. I loved that through studying philosophy and religious studies I was able to discover new cultures and new ways of thinking. I found new parts of the world that I wanted to discover. This was probably when my real desire to travel fully kicked in.
After taking an Eastern philosophy course, which studied Japanese and Chinese religious and philosophical thought, I knew I had to visit. In February of 2020, I took my first international trip to Japan.

Visiting Japan changed my whole perspective on life. My desire to travel grew tenfold, and I knew I needed to find a way to travel more often. I always thought that I had the “travel bug” until I actually took that first international trip.
What do I do?
I like to consider myself a woman with many skills, but the core of those skills center around travel. Have you ever heard of the phrase “jack of all trades, master of none…”? I have definitely tried to embrace the jack of all trades part.
My travels primarily are based around visiting theme parks, like Disney and Universal Studio parks. I decided to start this travel blog when I realized there was so much to learn about these theme parks around the world. This blog is designed to be a way for me to share those tips and tricks that I learn, to make your next visit to a theme park easier.
However, I don’t just visit theme parks. I also enjoy visiting the countries that the theme parks are in too. When I explore the area/country I try to visit a few historical sites while also trying to hit the not-so-popular spots filled with tourists. I try to really experience the culture and history that every area has to offer.

Shortly after starting this blog, I decided to really go for it and earn the title of a travel blogger. What I love most about it, is that it allows me to incorporate travel into my daily life. Writing all about my experiences and tricks I’ve learned along the way.
Due to my travels, I was already getting asked by friends to have them help plan trips here and there. I enjoyed helping people figure out how to make the most of their precious vacation time.
I knew that there had to be a way for me to make money helping people this way, so I looked into what it takes to become a travel agent/advisor. After months of research, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own travel business and become an independent travel agent with a host agency (all while during a global pandemic!).
Through my travel business, I am not only able to help plan and book trips from clients, but I can also help get people started on their own travel business. So that they can discover what it is like to travel smarter, and earn commissions back on travel that they would already be doing.

Why Use A Travel Advisor?
With so many online booking tools, a lot of people wonder why they should utilize a travel advisor to book their next trip.
To me, the answer seems obvious, but I understand it isn’t always the case. As a travel advisor, I am an expert in the field. I study all of the ins and outs of various locations which saves you all the hassle of doing it yourself.
Additionally, I have access to some incredible suppliers that solely work with travel agents creating some of the best deals out there!
My services are free, which means using me to plan and book your trip isn’t going to cost you anything extra!
Who wouldn’t want expert knowledge at no extra cost?
What motivates me?
As cliche as it may sound, I am motivated by the sense of adventure. I love going out and exploring new places.
Traveling has changed my life in so many ways, and because of that, I want to help others who wish to travel make their dreams a reality.
What are me dreams and desires?
It is my ultimate dream to live the life of a digital nomad. To have the freedom and flexibility to travel whenever, and where ever my heart desires, for however long I wish to stay.
I also want to help make others’ dreams a reality. Growing up, I was always told that world travel was only for those who have a lot of money. Where definitely being in the rich makes traveling a bit easier, it isn’t impossible for people who don’t fit in that category.
What is my goal?
There are quite a few travel goals that I have set for myself. A bucket list so to speak. Which highlights some of my main interests.
- Visit all 193 countries.
- Be able to speak the native language of a country I visit
- Learn to Scuba dive
- Swim with the humpback whales in Tonga
- Visit all Disney and Universal Theme Parks
More than my own personal goals, the most important goal that I have is to inspire. It might sound cliché to say that I want to be able to inspire others to go out past their comfort zone and experience the world. But it is a goal that is close to my heart. Why? Because it was through others that I personally got inspired and found the courage to go out and travel myself.
It was seeing people like Garrett and Jessica Gee from @thebucketlistfamily, Chloe and Jordan Egbert from @counting.countries, and hearing stories from my roommate of his travels around the globe. Hearing and seeing their story helped me go ‘Hey if they can do it then I can do it too.’ So if I can gift that in return to someone else, I would be over the moon excited.
What elements do you get out of it?
There are so many things that I get out of traveling. Traveling opens your eyes to a whole new world. Traveling seems to bring a perspective that nothing else can.

Before I started traveling, I used to have pretty bad anxiety. The thought of going to a store, or hanging out with friends would stress me out to a point of almost not doing it. I hated that I allowed my anxiety to have control over my life like that.
When I took my first international trip, I was extremely worried that the whole time I would be battling my anxiety. Boy was I wrong. Traveling internationally actually helped my anxiety tremendously! In fact, I haven’t really had many issues from it since that trip to Japan.
Travel awakens something deep within your soul.
