New Menu at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree: Mouth Watering Dishes
Now I always walk by the Hungry Bear restaurant. I only ever stop there because typically the restroom lines are shorter. When I went to Tokyo Disneyland, I actually ate at their Hungry Bear Restaurant and fell in love. I am so excited for Hungry Bear to return to Disneyland, and even more excited to try some delicious BBQ with this new menu!
The long-anticipated reopening of Hungry Bear Jamboree is right around the corner! And with it’s grand re-opening comes a brand new Barbecue menu with so many mouth watering dishes!
Now we don’t have an official re-open date for Hungry Bear Jamboree, but we anticipate it to be happening very soon since Disneyland just released their first look at their new menu!
Hungry Bear Jamboree Menu: The Back Story
Now every good thing at Disney has a backstory, and restaurants are no different. Each one has its own story for how it fits within the park, and the surrounding area. Earlier this year, The Hungry Bear Restaurant closed for refurbishment. Now we know it it because of the Country Bears.
The backstory behind their new menu, is that the Country Bears have finished their world tour traveling all around, and have been inspired to add some of their favorites to the menu.
The Bears; Henry, Wendell, Big Al, and the rest of the gang have discovered the beauty of various regional barbecue dishes. Finding some of their favorite elements to influence their Hungry Bear Restaurant Menu.
Hungry Bear Jamboree Menu: Entrees
Are you ready to explore these all new mouth watering entrees that will be coming to Disneyland?! There are so many great choices it will be hard to select just one.
Loaded Fries: Smoked pulled pork, queso sauce, pickled red onions, jalapeños, cilantro and scallions all on top of beer-battered fries.
Smoked Barbecue Combo Platter: Baked beans, house slaw, slice of white bread, pickles and a choice of two of the following meats – Pork Spareribs, Pulled Pork, Sausage Link, or Beef Brisket
Barbecue Pulled Pork Sandwich: Mixed with a tangy BBQ sauce, bread n butter pickles, house slaw and served with beer-battered fries
Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich: mixed with tangy BBQ sauce, pickled red onions, pickled jalapenos served with house slaw or beer-battered fries
Smoked Angus Beef Burger & Pulled Pork: topped with Americans cheese, pickled red onions, bread and butter pickles, crispy onions and golden aioli
Plant-Based option:
Corn Rib Plate: Chile-Lime Aioli, parmesan, cilantro, scallions and crispy onions served with house slaw and beer-battered fries
Of course they are also keeping some of their favorite classics from the original Hungry Bear Restaurant. So you don’t have to worry about these items going away when it reopens.

Of course, The Bears can’t forget the cubs of the family! With a and improved fun menu that even the smallest of cubs are bound to enjoy.

All of these options are served with a Cuties Mandarin Orange, Applesauce and a choice of a small beverage.
Hungry Bear Jamboree Menu: Desserts
Two new desserts will be on this new and exciting menu, to add a sweet finish to your savory dishes.
Banana Pudding: Bananas, whipped cream, crushed wafer cookies, dulce de leche and toffee
Funnel Cake Fries: topped with a sprinkling of powdered sugar, these are a great twist on traditional funnel cake
Hungry Bear Jamboree Menu: Specialty Drinks
Of course, no good barbecue menu would be complete without iced tea and fresh lemonade. Well The Bears have out done themselves with some of these special drinks on the menu.
Lemonade-Iced Tea: Simply Lemonade with Fold Peak Unsweetened Black tea, finished with a garnished lemon wheel
Sparkling Strawberry-Pickle Lemonade: Simply Lemonade, Minute Maid Strawberry Smoothie, Sprite, pickle juice, pickle spear and a splash of lime
Strawberry Shortcake Lemonade: Simply Lemonade, Minute Maid Strawberry Smoothie, with shortbread crumbles and strawberry dush on top of a sweet cream topping
The Wrap-Up: Hungry Bear Jamboree Menu
The Hungry Bear restaurant located in Critter County in Disneyland has been under renovations for what feels like an eternity! A few months ago, Disneyland announced that the restaurant would be returning under the name of Hungry Bear Jamboree.
And finally we have an appetizing menu to go along with the exciting new theming of the restaurant. This Hungry Bear Jamboree Menu brings back delicious barbecue to Disneyland. Something that has been missing for quite a while.
Now we don’t have an official reopening date for Hungry Bear Jamboree. But I think it is safe to say that it should be within the next month or so since the menu has been released!
Disneyland has gone all out with this menu featuring some delicious new and improved classic barbecue recipes.
