EPCOT is known for always having festivals at the park throughout the year! At the beginning of the New Year, you can count on the EPCOT Festival of the Arts to arrive! It has been officially announced that the festival will be returning in 2023!
One of the great parks of visiting EPCOT is that there are always festivals taking place, offering a wide variety of different food and drinks inspired from around the world!
The EPCOT Festival of the Arts is no different. In fact, this is one of the more popular festivals that EPCOT hosts, as it also has hundreds of artists at the festival!
Now the information for this year’s (2023) festival is still being announced, so be sure to keep checking back to see what new information is going to be released!

When is the EPCOT Festival of the Arts?
EPCOT hosts the International Festival of the Arts every year. This year (2023) the festival will take place from January 13, 2023, until February 20, 2023!
EPCOT Festival of the Arts allows guests and artists alike to become fully immersive in the arts. This includes culinary arts, performing arts, and visual arts.
Guests can expect to find whole new food menus at a variety of different Food Studios (food booths). As well as the opportunity to participate in a variety of different visual art
Pro-Tip: Valid tickets AND Park reservations are still required to visit EPCOT!
EPCOT Festival of the Arts: Food Studios
This year there will be 16 food studios (or food booths) available for guests to enjoy! Which includes 2 new food studios for guests to try!
Each food studio is guaranteed to have food that is bursting with color and flavor!
New Food Studios:
Moderne – This food studio will be located near Test Track, and is rumored to feature new avant-garde menu items.
Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food, and Spark of Magic – This food studio will be over near Figment’s area [INSERT AREA NAME]. And is rumored to have new treats and drinks that will be bright and vibrant in both colors and flavors.
There will be more information on these two new, and other food studios as the Festival gets closer.
EPCOT Festival of the Arts: Activities
Currently, all that is known for this year is that like years, before there will be a wide variety of activities that will be enjoyable for guests of all ages.
It is confirmed that a giant pain-by-number mural will be available for guests to enjoy and help complete.
Guests will also be able to learn how to draw different Disney Characters at Animation Academy. Additionally, there will be an area for guests to help Figment learn about the history of art through a scavenger hunt around the World Showcase.
EPCOT Festival of the Arts: Artists
Disney has only announced that guests will be able to browse through a variety of collections from established artists as well as up-and-coming artists.
The full list (of over 100) participating artists isn’t released yet, but stay tuned as I will update accordingly.

EPCOT Festival of the Arts: Concerts
During the evening time of the Festival, guests will be able to enjoy a Disney On Broadway concert series. Which will feature live performers, performing Disney songs at American Gardens Theatre.
The full list of performing entertainers isn’t released, but I will update you when released.

What should I wear to Epcot in January?
It is always sunny and warm in Florida, and not to mention humid! It is always best to wear shorts and a short sleeve shirt.
But as always, don’t forget to bring an umbrella or a poncho, for any unscheduled scattered rainstorms that might come through. Even though January isn’t really the rainy season, it is always best to bring rain gear.
What should I wear to Epcot in February?
Similar to January, February is sunny weather with the occasional rain. There is a higher chance of rain in February than in January. But the weather is still warm and sunny, making it ideal for shorts and t-shirt weather.

This year’s Festival of the Arts will bring a bunch of new food items and artists for everyone to enjoy. From live concerts, drawing classes, and meet and greets with Disney artists.
