The Disneyland Resort now offers Fitness Classes through the Tenya Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel! That’s right, in addition to the incredible gyms that each hotel offers, and spa and wellness treatments offered through Tenya Spa, guests at the resort can now enjoy instructor lead, fitness classes!

Make magic in the kitchen with Cinderella, Snow White, Mulan, and more! Create more than 50 healthy treats inspired by favorite Disney Princesses. The first official Disney cookbook to showcase healthy cooking, Disney Princess: Healthy Treats Cookbook offers easy-to-make recipes for kid-friendly treats and snacks. It also includes tips for kitchen safety and lots of fun facts about nutrition and fitness.


During my last trip to the Disneyland Resort, I decided to sign up for one of these fitness classes myself! I had heard and seen youtube videos explaining how fun they can be, it was definitely something that I had to try for myself.

Note: These are the current classes, prices, and length of class offered when this post goes live. The current classes could have some changes. I will do my best to update the post as things change. Be sure to go to their direct booking site for the latest information.

Disneyland Fitness Classes – Types of Classes

There are a variety of fitness classes offered throughout the day! Some are held in the parks, and others are held at Disney’s Grand California Hotel.

As a note, these are fitness classes designed for adults aged 18 and up. There are a few times when teens, ages 14 to 17, can enjoy certain classes if the minor’s parent/guardian consents in writing and companies the minor during the class. Fitness classes will not be offered for those under 14 years old.

The following classes are the Disneyland Fitness Classes currently being offered.

Power Walking Workout in DCA

This class allows you to kick off your day with an energetic walk and active stretching throughout Disney California Adventure Park before the park opens.

This Power Walking Workout maintains a 15-18 min per mile pace for about 2 miles and lasts about 45 mins. It is best to wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.

The current cost for this course is $30 per person, lasts about 45 minutes in length, and takes place around 6:30 am.

Paddleboard Yoga

Paddleboard Yoga allows you to discover your inner peach and tranquility, through a yoga practice on a paddleboard while floating in one of the pools at Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa.

That’s right, this course takes place in the Fountain Pool at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Because it takes place in the pool, it is recommended that guests who attend this class are comfortable in the water prior to booking this class.

This class currently costs $30 per person, lasts about 30 minutes in length, and starts around 9:30 am.

Paddleboard Fitness

This class combines strength, core, and cardio exercises on a paddleboard. This class does take place in the Fountain Pool at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Guests should be comfortable in the water prior to signing up for this class, as the cause does take place in the pool.

This class currently costs $30 per person, lasts 30 minutes in length, and starts around 10:15 am.

Disney ears Yoga

Enjoy a yoga session and add a little Disney magic, by wearing your favorite Disney ears during class! That’s right, kick start an afternoon in the parks, or take a park break with a rejuvenating yoga session while wearing your favorite Disney ears!

Disney ears Yoga takes place in the Eureka Fitness Gym and wearing Mickey ears is strongly encouraged.

This class currently costs $25 per person, lasts about 45 minutes in length, and usually starts around 12 noon.

Yoga Burn

Elevate your yoga practice with this exhilarating session that combines cardio, pilates, and yoga! Emphasizing a focus on core engagement and strength, this fitness class is a perfect balance of yin and yang.

This class currently costs $25 per person, lasts about 45 minutes, and usually takes place at 10:15 am at the Eureka Fitness Gym.

Adventure Boot Camp

Enjoy a high-intensity boot camp class in Disney California Adventure Park prior to the park opening! This class will include exercises like squats, sit-ups, push-ups, and more. Including a jog/run around the park at a 12 min per mile pace. (So be sure to wear a good pair of shoes).

This class currently costs $30 per person, lasts 45 minutes in length, and starts at 6:30 am.

Awakening Yoga

Imagine starting your morning with a yoga session that has you overlooking Disney California Adventure Park in the early morning!

If this sounds like something for you, then you are going to want to do this Awakening Yoga class. It is designed for all levels, with various types of yoga to help improve your overall balance and mental awareness!

This class currently costs $25 per person, lasts 45 minutes in length, and usually starts at 8:15 am.

Stretch Before the Magic!

This, Stretch Before the Magic! fitness course is great to start your day with gentle stretching prior to a day of park hopping!

The class goes through a variety of gentle stretching designed to help relax muscles throughout your whole body to help prepare you for a magical day ahead!

This class is also designed to help you feel better in physical activities and decrease your risk of injury. Definitely a great way to start your morning!

This class currently costs $25 per person, lasts about 45 minutes, and usually takes place around 6:30 am.

Grand Bodyweight Circuit

Get ready to feel the burn through some intense exercises. With this class, you will endure multiple stations that cause you to utilize your own body weight for a full-body workout.

This class currently costs $25 per person, lasts about 45 minutes, and usually takes place around 8:15 am at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Yoga in the Redwood Creek

Enjoy the ultimate intimate setting to experience a mindfulness yoga session within the Disney California Adventure Park.

This class combines a blend of soothing sounds and imagery to create the ultimate and unforgettable magical yoga experience.

Allowing guests to connect with nature in a magical destination-like experience they won’t forget. Perfect for everyone, regardless of experience level as this class offers a variety of yoga flow levels.

This class currently costs $30 per person, lasts about 60 minutes, and usually takes place around 7:45 am.

Grand Boot Camp

This class is a high-intensity full-body workout. Guests will perform repetitive full-body movements at different stations.

Taking place in the Eureka Fitness Gym at Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa, guests will be utilizing a variety of different types of equipment at each station.

This class currently costs $25 per person, lasts about 45 minutes, and usually takes place around 12 noon.

Disneyland Resort Fitness Classes – DCA Power Walk Experience

Because the class takes place prior to the park opening in Disney California Adventure Park, no photographs or video recording is allowed.

So I don’t have any photos from the course or any videos to share on youtube, but I was able to map out the route that we took during the course.

As you can tell from our route, we went all over the park. However, it wasn’t just a straight powerwalk. The class did include active stretching, squats, and lunges. Nothing too crazy, but definitely more than just a powerwalk!

I would still highly recommend this class. So much so, I am looking into taking the class almost every day of my next Disneyland trip! Yes, it was that much fun!

The Lead Instructor, Shinobu Tygi, was the sweetest, most energetic instructor that I’ve ever had in all my workout years! If she is teaching the course, you are going to have a great time!
