When visiting an international Disney Park, it is a good idea to have a plan to be able to capitalize on all of your time in the park. This post is a full breakdown of Tokyo Disneyland Rides and Attractions.
I will break down all of the rides and attractions by the ‘land’ on which you can find them. The goal of this post is to help create a general idea of what rides will be on your ‘must-see’ list.

Note: Attractions with the double asterisk ** mean that it has a height requirement and will be listed below in the section dedicated specifically to height requirements at Tokyo Disneyland.
Tokyo Disneyland Rides: World Bazaar
Right as guests enter Tokyo Disneyland, guests step right into the World Bazaar. Designed to be the hub for the grand adventures that await guests who explore the different lands in Tokyo Disneyland.
Omnibus – Similar to the Main Street Vehicles you can enjoy in the original Disney. The Omnibus is a two-story bus that takes you around the plaza. This can be a great way to get a glimpse at all the themed lands Tokyo Disneyland has to offer.

Penny Arcade – Take a step back in time and enjoy an expansive collection of old-fashioned classic coin-operated arcade games, like pinball, baseball, and more.

Tokyo Disneyland Rides: Adventureland
Western River Railroad – One of the 3 Railroad stations guests can stop at during an authentic steam train around Tokyo Disneyland.
On a round trip, guests can enjoy going through Adventureland, Critter County, and Westernland.
Pirates of the Caribbean – Get ready to set sail on an adventure through the story of Pirates of the Caribbean. See Captain Jack Sparrow and other fan favorites from Disney’s live-action film.


Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions – Enjoy a boat ride through the jungle with a comedic Skipper to guide your tour. Nighttime cruises are also available for those looking for an even more thrilling atmosphere.

Swiss Family Treehouse – Have you seen the Disney classic film Swiss Family Robinson from the 1960s? This Tokyo Disneyland attraction is based on the movie; explore the towering treehouse similar to the home that the Robinson family created. This treehouse stands 19 meters high.

The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents “Aloha E Komo Mai!” – Enjoy the classic Walt Disney Enchanted Tiki Room performance of Hawaiian birds, but watch the show get interrupted by everyone’s favorite space alien and experiment. That’s right, Stitch (Experiment 626), interrupts the show involving guests and the tiki gods!
Tokyo Disneyland Rides: Westernland
Westernland Shootin’ Gallery – Test your skill as a sharpshootin’ marksman, where your score can get you a special prize.
Country Bear Theater – Enjoy the bear-y best county music performance you will ever see. Enjoy 18 humorous country bears performing a great show.
Mark Twain Riverboat – Guests can enjoy a relaxing cruise around the Rivers of America. This Tokyo Disneyland attraction can be enjoyed both during the day, as well as at night.
Tom Sawyer Island Rafts – Take the raft to go and explore Tom Sawyer Island. Located right in the middle of the Rivers of America, you never know what adventure awaits on Tom Sawyer Island. Enjoy Injun Joe’s Cave, Huckleberry Swamp, Tom Sawyer’s Treehouse, and more!
Big Thunder Mountain – This rollercoaster takes you on a thrill exploration through the old mine trains from the big gold rush.**
Tokyo Disneyland Rides: Critter Country
Splash Mountain – Hop inside the log boat and get ready for a thrilling adventure with a big splash!**

And in case anyone is wondering, Disney has not announced that the Splash Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland will be re-imagined for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Meaning that if you wish to enjoy the classic Splash Mountain, then you can always go to Tokyo Disneyland!

Tokyo Disneyland Rides: Fantasyland
Enter the world of fantasy, where classic Disney stories come to life. Step into the world of nostalgia with these timeless stories, designed to be fun for all ages. Tokyo Disneyland’s Fantasyland is very similar to Fantasyland at Disneyland in Anaheim.
Alice’s Tea Party – Join Dormouse in a colorful teacup. Spin around, and change your speed and direction as the cups spin around.
“it’s a small world” – Embark on a voyage through Europe, Asia, Africa, Central America, and the islands of the South Pacific. See characters dressed in traditional costumes of their counties singing “it’s a small world”.

Castle Carrousel – Pick one of the many white horses to choose from, to feel like a princess or prince. The magic of Cinderella’s story comes to life on this carousel journey.
Snow White’s Adventures – Take a journey through the classic story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Travel into the dark forest, meet the evil queen, and see if Snow White will take a poisoned apple.
Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall – Enter the throne room of Cinderella and Prince Charming! That’s right, Cinderella’s Castle is open to guests to enjoy seeing paintings, dioramas, and other forms of artwork that tell her story.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant – Embark on a flight with everyone’s favorite flying elephant! Conducted by Timothy Q. Mouse, you are sure to have the flight of your life, exploring new heights with Dumbo.
Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast – This is a new and top-rated attraction. Join Belle and Beast in a magical dance guiding guests through the story of the beloved animated film.
Peter Pan’s Flight – Guests board a pirate ship and go on a journey to Neverland. Flying through the air, guests can enjoy the classic story of Peter Pan unfolding all around them.
Pinocchio’s Daring Journey – Hop into a mine car and see the story of the wooden puppet that becomes a real boy. Enjoy this adventurous journey and see what kind of magic will evolve.
Pooh’s Hunny Hunt – This is a Tokyo Disneyland exclusive ride! (And one of my favorites). This was the first attraction to use the ‘trackless’ system that is starting to show up for attractions in the US.

On this ride, guests embark on a giant honey pot and watch the story of Winnie the Pooh come to life. But in a way like never seen before.
Haunted Mansion – Similar to the Haunted Mansion ride in the US Disney Parks, this is a gothic-style mansion that is haunted by 999 ghosts, goblins, and ghouls. Enjoy a ride through the Haunted Mansion and try and avoid any hitchhiking ghosts!
Mickey’s Philhar Magic – Watch your favorite Disney animations come to life in a magical 3D concert that is fun and entertaining for all ages.
Tokyo Disneyland Rides: Toontown
Tokyo Disneyland’s Toontown is where the classic toons come to life! Where you can walk through the houses of the classic Disney Characters, and go for a mini adventure.
Toon Park – This is an area specifically designed for the little ones that might be with your party. Despite having no height restrictions in this area, Mickey Mouse himself created this for young ones to play on, crawl through, and climb on.
Gadget’s Go Coaster – A smaller coaster to enjoy at Tokyo Disneyland, but one that can still be enjoyed. Designed to be one of Gadget’s latest inventions, this is definitely a coaster for people.**
Goofy’s Paint ‘n’ Play House – Help Goofy redecorate one of the rooms in his house! Using the Toontone Splat Master paint applicators, this is something that is fun for all ages.

Chip ‘n Dale’s Treehouse – Explore the oak tree house that is home to everyone’s favorite chipmunks, Chip and Dale. See what kind of fun things you can discover in their home.
Donald’s Boat – Take a turn at the control panel of Donald Duck’s boat, honking horns, turning on lamps, and more.
Minnie’s House – Walkthrough Minnie Mouse’s house and see what memories she has of her and Mickey. Enter the kitchen and see what snacks Minnie has in the fridge.
Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin – Join Roger Rabbit on a ride through the back streets of Toontown. But watch out for the villainous weasels that are after Roger Rabbit!

Tokyo Disneyland Rides: Tomorrowland
Step into the world of Tomorrowland where you can see where items of the future come to life in the present.

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue – Board a Starspeeder 1000 and go on a space journey where the world of Star Wars comes to life in this 3D attraction. But keep an eye out, you never know who you will run into from the franchise!**
Stitch Encounter – Fun for the whole family, have a chat with Stitch, in this interactive theater. That’s right, guests will be able to interact and tell jokes with Stitch in real time.
If you have been to Disney California Adventure Park, and have done the Talk with Crush in the Art of Animation building, this is essentially the Stitch version of that attraction.
Space Mountain – Embark on a thrilling rocket ride through the galaxy! Enter the mountainous dome and enjoy a state-of-the-art spaceship.**

Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters – Become a Space Ranger and help Buzz Lightyear defeat the evil Emperor Zurg. Using Astro blasters to fight off Emperor Zurg and his minions, make sure to score high and make it on the leaderboard.

The Happy Ride with Baymax – Experience firsthand, the newest invention by Hiro Hamada, and hop in a nurse bot-pulled vehicle to a wild musical ride.
One of the newest rides to be added to Tokyo Disneyland, this is one that you aren’t going to want to miss.

Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek! – Board a Monstropolis Tram to explore the offices and streets of Monstropolis. Use your flashlight (attached in the tram) to help Boo, Sulley, and Mike play hide-and-go-seek with hidden monsters.


Tokyo Disneyland Rides: Disney Premier Access
Similar to FastPass or Genie+, Tokyo Disneyland has a pay-per-ride access option available for guests in the park.
This feature can only become available through the Tokyo Disney app once a guest has entered the park.

For the safety of guests, there are some rides that have height requirements. At Tokyo Disneyland, there aren’t many rides that have height requirements. But if you are traveling with little ones, it is best to know what they are.

This gives a wide variety of things to do at Tokyo Disneyland. There are bound to be attractions for everyone in your group.
Are Tokyo Disneyland rides in English?
This really depends upon the ride. Most of the ride safety information is given in about 3 languages, Japanese, Chinese, and English. Other than that most of the rides are in fact in Japanese. Which can definitely make for an exciting and unique experience if you don’t know Japanese.
However, I must say that Disney magic still makes the experience fun and enjoyable even if you don’t know any Japanese.

Can I try all the attractions in one day?
It is definitely possible to do all of the Tokyo Disneyland attractions in one day. However, in order to do so, you definitely need to have some planning and be willing to spend a few yen to get Disney Premier Access.

Many of the rides at Tokyo Disneyland are very comparable to rides at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. However, everything has a Japanese twist.
This makes it a great way to enjoy some familiarity while also seeing some cultural differences.
