This is an exciting new offer for guests who enjoy going to Universal Studios for their spooky events.

In this post, we are going to go through everything that you need to know about this new dining pass, so you can determine if it is worth it for your visit.

What is Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass?

Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass is a new add-on that you can purchase when you buy your Halloween Horror Night tickets.

Currently it is only available at Universal Studios Hollywood (sorry Orlando).

When you purchase this Dining Pass, you pay a flat rate for select vouchers to be used to buy specific food items.

It can be a great way to save a bit of money and not have to worry about how much cash you have or taking out your card for all the snacks.

What To Expect With A Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass

When you purchase a Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass, you get a total of six (6) vouchers. Two (2) vouchers for eligible entree items, and four (4) vouchers for eligible snacks, dessert, beverage, or side items.

The Dining Pass vouchers can only be applied to specific or eligible items on menus. All eligible items will be noted with the Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass logo on the menu.

Important Note: One of the eligible menu items is a 22″ All Beef Hot Dog, and it does require you to redeem two of your entree item vouchers. So keep this in mind if that looks good for your entree item as well as something else.

How To Purchase the Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass

The Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass can be purchased online as a ticket add-on. It is a good idea to buy it when you’re also buying your event tickets, as it ensures that you are getting the dining pass for the same night.

In order to redeem the dining pass, it has to be purchased for the same night as your ticketed event.

If you lose your pass, you won’t be able to get a replacement. And any unused vouchers will be expired after the event ends.

Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass Cost

The cost of the Dining Pass is the same for all of the Halloween Horror Nights, and it is a flat rate of $71.31 per pass.

If you have your Halloween Horror Nights tickets already, then you can buy your Dining Pass here.

At this time, there is no discounts or promotions available for purchasing the Dining Pass.

Additionally, if you purchase a multi-night event ticket for Halloween Horror Nights, you will need to purchase a Dining Pass for each of the nights you attend if you wish to use it. There isn’t a multi-night Dining Pass currently available for purchase.

Again, it is important to remember that this dining pass must be completely used during your night at Halloween Horror Nights.

Is Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass Worth It?

If you’re looking to do Halloween Horror Nights on a budget, then the Dining Pass is absolutely worth it.

Even if you aren’t looking to do a scary night on a budget, it can be a great way to make dining during Halloween Horror Nights easier.

Closing The Gates On: Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass

For the Spooky 2025 Halloween Season, Universal Studios Hollywood has added a new ticket add-on this year to Halloween Horror Nights. The Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass.

With this new Dining Pass, you’re able to pay a flat rate for select food vouchers to make buying eligible food items easier.

The Dining Pass can only be used at Universal Studios Hollywood, during the Halloween Horror Nights on the event date selected when purchased.

What To Expect At Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood

If you have ever attended the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando, then you someone what know to expect at the one here in Hollywood.

Universal Studio Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights are often referred to as Southern California’s Scariest Halloween event! Filled with hours of non-stop Halloween fun!

With everything from haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, themed treats, themed merchandise, and more!

But this event isn’t for everyone! In fact, the event isn’t recommended for anyone 13 years of age or younger.

In year’s past, Universal Studios Hollywood, has had an overall theme for the Halloween Horror Nights, with each haunted house, scare zone, and treats falling within that theme. However for the past few years now, there has been no official theme for the whole event.

But that doesn’t mean that the theming for the haunted houses and scare zones have been less then exceptionally horrific!

HHN Hollywood Scare Zones

At Halloween Horror Nights, not only do you have haunted houses to explore through (more details below), but you also have Scare zones!

Scare Zones are areas of the park where you specifically need to worry about terrifying creatures coming out of the dark! Each Scare Zone has a different theme so be sure to be on the lookout when you enter these areas.

This year Universal has brought back some all time favorite scare zone themes, as well as some new ones.

Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood Haunted Houses

Universal Studios Hollywood, usually does 8 haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights. All of the haunted house themes have been slowly released, and we know all the themes!

The haunted houses this year are new and improved, based upon some of the current popular horror scenes.

Some of the haunted house themes are the same as the ones that will also be present at Universal Studios Orlando Halloween Horror Nights. But that doesn’t mean that attending the event will be the same as in Orlando.

While the themes of the haunted houses are the same, each Universal Studios park does their own rendition of the theme, which makes them different to experience.

So don’t worry, there are still some Haunted Houses at Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood that are exclusive to the Hollywood park.

Let’s dive into the themes for the Haunted Houses you can see this year:

• Five Nights at Freddy’s – Step into the world where Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy come to life. Can you make it through the house alive?!
• Terrifier – Based on all three films, step into Art’s gore filled display, showcasing his work. Just don’t stay too long, or you might become his next victim.
• Fallout – This post-apocalyptic LA scene will have you facing The Ghoul, Maximus and the Brotherhood of Steel.
• Jason Universe – Meet Jason Voorhees in his element, and walk through various scenes of his victims. This is a classic house you aren’t going to want to miss.
• The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks – This is a WWE ‘themed’ house, where you’ll enter the area of The Wyatt Sicks. Here you will be greeted by Uncle Howdy, Rambling Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard, Abby the Witch, and Huskus the Pig.
• Poltergeist – They’re here!! Based on the classic horror film, listen closely to the TV’s whisper and enter into a new world.
• Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America – In 2023, you had Monsters of Latin America. In 2024, you had Nightmares of Latin America. This year you get the Ghosts of Latin America! Get ready as La Muerte leads you into the darkness to meet other legendary creatures in the darkness.
• Scarecrow: Music by Slash – An updated version of a previous house, but this time featuring music by Slash. Which doesn’t sound like much, but it will take this house to new horrifying scenes.

Horror Nights Terror Tram

The Terror Tram returns this year continuing with the “Enter The Blumhouse” theme. This year, the villains from Blumhouse movies over the past 15 years have been unleashed and are here to show you a new side of horror.

This Terror Tram showcases some of the best scenes from The Black Phone 2, The Purge, Freaky, Happy Death Day, and many more. Making you feel like you’re right inside the movie.

Previous years of the Terror Tram this has been a riding experience, where you ride the tram through the scenes. This year is a bit different.

For this year’s Terror Tram, you ride the tram to an area, get off the tram, and walk through the scenes that have been created. Making it a much more horrifying and unique experience for guests.

Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood Dates

Halloween Horror Night will take place on select nights from September 4 – November 2, 2025. There will be a total of 39 nights to select from, but you better buy tickets quickly, as nights sell out fast!

The event pretty much is held every Thursday through Sunday throughout September and October.

To make it easier to plan your trip, I have listed the dates of the event by month, as well as given a calendar view of the dates.

September dates for Halloween Horror Nights are:

September 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28

October dates for Halloween Horror Nights are:

October 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31
November 1, 2.

The event will start at 7 pm, and the ending time does vary by date.

Halloween Horror Nights Cost

The night of Halloween Horror Night at Hollywood Studios depends upon the type of ticket you purchase, and the night of the event that you go to.

Here is a quick overview of what the cost will be to go, followed by a full breakdown.

The minimal cost that you can expect to pay to attend Halloween Horror Nights is about $77 per person (same price as 2024). If you select the R.I.P tour, then you can expect to pay around $449 per person (a $40 increase from last year).

If a spooky ‘season pass’ is what you are after, then the cheapest pass, Frequent Fear Pass, is $179 per person (same price as 2024). And the Ultimate Fear Pass starts at $299 per person (same price as 2024). But we will get into more details on the season passes below.

As a general rule of thumb, attending on Thursday nights will be the cheapest night to go, and will probably have the smallest crowds. The weekends are always going to be the most expensive, as well as the most crowded.

Below I have listed all the different ticket options available. Please note that if you have looked at the ticket options for Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, the ticket options for Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood are different.

Halloween Horror Nights Tickets

Tickets for Halloween Horror Night Hollywood can be purchased online, and at the gates (unless sold out). Tickets are currently on sale.

Tickets can be purchased directly from Universal Studios Hollywood; purchase online here. Or they can be purchased through Klook; purchase on Klook here.

There are quite a few different ticket options to select from. Here are all of the different ticket options to hopefully make it easier for you to decide which tickets are best for you and your party.

Some fine print to remember when you purchase your tickets:

• Tickets are only valid for the date that you select when checking out
• Unless purchased separately, tickets do not include early access to the event
• No outside food or beverages are allowed
• The event occurs rain or shine, and no rain checks or refunds will be offered
• Unless stated, parking is not included in the ticket cost
• Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable

Regardless of which ticket your purchase, it is important to read the terms and conditions for the ticket you select.

Halloween Horror Night General Admission Ticket

This is the base ticket option that you can purchase in order to attend the spooky event!

It allows you access to Universal Studios Hollywood* for the special ticketed event. And allows you to see all the haunted houses and attractions that are open during the event.

This single-night ticket costs between $77 – $107 per person. The cost does vary by the date on which you attend.

*The ticket does NOT allow you access to Super Nintendo World during the event.

Halloween Horror Night Universal Express Ticket

The Universal Express Ticket option is the same as the single-night ticket, giving guests access to the after-hours event. Plus it gives guests express access to all of the haunted houses.

Express access is only allowed once per haunted house with this ticket. This means that if you want to go back to a favorite haunted house, you will have to stand in the regular line.

The Universal Express Ticket costs between $259 – $349 per person. Again, the night which you select to go will cause a change in the ticket cost.

Halloween Horror Night Universal Express Unlimited Ticket

With the HHN Unlimited Express ticket, you can enjoy unlimited express access to all the haunted houses. Where the Express Ticket allows you to just enter each house once, this ticket gives you unlimited express access.

Have a favorite Haunted house? Go as many times as you would like with this ticket. This Universal Express Unlimited ticket costs between $299 – $399 per person.

Halloween Horror Night After 2 pm Ticket

This is a Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Night exclusive ticket! That’s right, Orlando doesn’t have this ticket option for guests!

With this ticket, guests are allowed to enter the park for the event at 2 pm. This gives you an extra 5 hours to enjoy Universal Studios Hollywood prior to the event!

This 2 pm ticket costs between $117 – $157 per person. Which is actually a great value for getting into the park so early!

Halloween Horror Night 2 pm Express Ticket

Get into the park 5 hours early and get express access to each of the 8 haunted houses at Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood with this ticket!

This 2 pm express ticket costs between $319 – $439 per person.

Halloween Horror Night R.I.P Tour

This is what I would consider the ultimate horror night experience ticket! This R.I.P. Tour ticket really delivers above and beyond for true horror fans!

The R.I.P. Tour includes:
– A guided walking tour of the event with R.I.P entry into each haunted house
– R.I.P entry to select rides
– Reserved seating at Live shows
– Private VIP trolley transportation
– Gourmet dinner at the VIP dining room
– Interactive themed photo with a scare actor
– Complimentary Valet Parking
– Special VIP entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood
– Commemorative “R.I.P” credentials and lanyard

A few of the items listed above are based on the tour itinerary that you select. Making the R.I.P tour customizable to what your group wants.

When you go to purchase the R.I.P. Tour, you will need to select the time of your tour. The times of the tours are subject to availability.

R.I.P Tour cost is between $449 – $519 per person.

Halloween Horror Night Early Access Ticket

This is an add-on ticket that you can purchase in addition to the single-night ticket.

By purchasing this additional early access ticket, you will be granted access to Universal Studios Hollywood, an hour and a half prior (at 5:30 pm) to the Halloween Horror Nights event starting.

The Early Access ticket is great if you want to get a head start, but don’t want to purchase a 2 pm access ticket.

Early Access tickets cost between $10 – $25 per person. As with the single-night tickets, the cost of the additional early access ticket will vary upon the day of the week.

Purchasing this ticket alone will NOT get you into Halloween Horror Nights. This must be purchased IN ADDITION to a single-night ticket.

THIS EARLY ACCESS TICKET IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE BUT FELT NECESSARY TO KEEP INFORMATION IN CASE THEY BRING THE TICKET BACK FOR FUTURE EVENTS.

Halloween Horror Night Fear Passes

Another Universal Studios Hollywood exclusive pass for the Halloween Horror Nights! Offering two different types of ‘unlimited’ passes for the Halloween Horror Night events!

You’ve heard that correctly folks! Why scream just one night this Halloween season when you can get your scream on multiple nights!

Frequent Fear Pass

The Frequent Fear Pass allows guests to attend up to 33 nights of the Halloween Horror Night event!

With this pass, there are no blackout dates on the first visit. Visits after the initial must be one of the select nights (listed below). Return visits do have some blackout dates.

Return Visit Approved Dates:
September 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28.
October 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 26, 29, 30, 31.
November 1, 2.

Return Visit Blackout Dates:
October 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25.

This Frequent Fear Pass starts at $179 per person! This is a great deal for the cost. If you break it down, as long as you go at least twice, the pass basically pays for itself!

Ultimate Fear Pass

The Ultimate Fear Pass allows guests to attend up to 40 nights of the Halloween Horror Night event!

With the Ultimate Fear Pass, there are no blackout dates! Guests with this pass can attend all the event nights if they wish!

If you are looking for a super spooky, scream-filled Halloween season, then this is definitely the pass that you are looking for!

This Ultimate fear pass is $299 per person! When you break it down, this pass is a great deal. As long as you go more than twice, the pass has essentially paid for itself!

This year, Universal Studios Hollywood decided to create a new Dining Pass available for guests.

The Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass allows guests to purchase a set of vouchers for a flat rate, and then redeem the vouchers for select food and beverages around the park the night of the event.

Is Universal Studios Hollywood doing Halloween Horror Nights?

YES! Universal Studios Hollywood is hosting Halloween Horror Nights for a grand total of 39 nights this spooky season! The event takes place on select nights throughout September and October.

Tickets are on sale now, so be sure you purchase your tickets online prior to the event!

What time do Hollywood Horror Nights start?

The event officially starts at 7 pm. Unfortunately, this year Universal Studios removed their early access into the event for purchasing tickets online.

Now, if you wish to enter the event earlier than 7 pm, you can either purchase an additional Early Access Ticket, which grants 1.5 hours early entry. You would need to purchase a 2 pm ticket entry, which allows you to enter 5 hours prior to the event.

In other words, entrance into the event will depend upon the ticket you purchase:
General Admission: 7 pm Entry
Early Entry Ticket (add-on): 5:30 pm Entry
2pm Ticket: 2 pm Entry

Can you dress up for Halloween Horror Nights?

Unfortunately, Universal Studios has a strict policy on costumes and attire during their Halloween Horror Night events. Costumes are not encouraged, nor will they be allowed in through the front gates.

What is the best day to go to Hollywood Horror Nights?

If you’re looking to experience Halloween Horror Nights without having to deal with big crowds, then going during the week is going to be one of the better days to go.

Dates that are weekends, and/or dates that are closer to Halloween will not only be more expensive, but they will also be more crowded.

If you can, going during the week in early September, or in early October will help minimize crowds during your event.

Does Hollywood Horror Nights include rides?

Halloween Horror Nights event does include some rides for the night, but not all. Some of the rides that are open are as follows;

• Jurassic World – The Ride
• Revenge of the Mummy – The Ride
• Transformers: The Ride-3D

If you are looking for Express Access or Unlimited Express Access to the rides that are open during the event, then be sure to purchase the event ticket that includes either option.

An area that is for sure off-limits to Halloween Horror Night guests is the Super Nintendo World area. The whole area with the rides will be closed during the event.

However, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be open during Halloween Horror Nights. Additionally, you should be able to see some of the frightful characters like Death Eaters during the event.

Super Nintendo World will NOT be open during the event.

Does Universal close early on Halloween Horror Nights?

Yes, on event nights, the park closes to the general public at 5 pm. However, if you have a ticket to that date’s Halloween Horror Night event, then you are allowed to stay within the park in designated areas.

If you are unsure where the designated area is, be sure to ask a worker, and they will be happy to help navigate you to the right area.

When did Halloween Horror Nights start in Hollywood?

Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood is actually the spin-off of the Horror event that takes place at Universal Studios Orlando. This spooky event started in 1994, the year after it was started in Orlando.

The event has been going strong ever since (well minus a year for the pandemic).

This year Halloween Horror Nights will take place on select nights from September 4, 2025, until November 2, 2025. There will be a total of 39 event nights for guests to enjoy.

What is Gradventure at Universal?

Gradventure is Universal Studio Orlando’s private event to celebrate those who graduated from 8th grade. It is an excellent opportunity to celebrate this milestone.

At Gradventure, you get to celebrate graduation at two different Universal Studios Orlando parks! Limited attendance also means that you can enjoy shorter wait times at some of your favorite Universal attractions!

What to Expect at Universal Gradventure

Gradventure is an exclusive private event only for those who register ahead of time. It is a private event for 8th graders to celebrate their graduation. Attendees get special access to Universal Studios Florida, as well as Universal Studios Island of Adventure after the park closes to the general public.

With access to both parks, students get a special pathway to quickly get them from one park to another, making it easier to enjoy the rides at both parks. And with limited ticket sales, attractions usually have shorter lines making it easier to enjoy more rides throughout the night.

Additionally, attendees can enjoy live DJs and dance parties throughout each park and street performers in both parks.

What’s Included at Gradventure

Gradventure provides a safe place for your 8th graders to enjoy Universal! By purchasing a student ticket, attendees can enjoy hours of the private event, free entertainment (including DJs and performers), exclusive Gradventure merchandise, and more!

Who is Eligible to Attend Gradventure

Gradventure is only available for those that are 8th grade students, and approved chaperones that are associated with the school the student attends.

Gradventure is available for 8th grade students, regardless of if the students attendance is at a public school, private school, or home schooled.

Universal Gradventure Tickets

Universal offers only one type of ticket for Grandventure. Everyone that attends Gradventure will need to have a ticket.

However, there is a unique rule for chaperones, which we will touch on a little later.

The Gradventure tickets gets students the following:
– Admission into Gradventure
– Access to both Universal Studios Florida & Universal Islands of Adventure
– Early admission at 4pm (prior to Gradventure start)
– Voucher for: One Quick Service Meal and One non-alcoholic beverage

Chaperone Tickets:

Universal offers a complimentary chaperone ticket for every 10 students tickets that are purchased. If you need additional chaperone tickets, then they can be purchased alongside the students tickets.

This complimentary chaperone tickets makes it easier and more affordable for schools to have enough chaperones present for the event.

Gradventure Chaperone Benefits:

Now, if you were wondering if there was any benefits for Chaperones, the answer is yes!

In addition to admission into Gradventure, chaperones also get:
– Complimentary Universal Express Unlimited
– Chaperone Only Lounge (with snacks and drinks)
– Complimentary meal
– Games throughout the evening

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, Universal’s website does not list the cost of the tickets for Gradventure without actually registering for the event. In previous years, tickets have cost around $150. However, the cost is typically given by the school and also includes transportation, so the cost is subject to change.

Universal Orlando Gradventure Hours

The Gradventure event officially starts at 7 pm, and ends at 12 midnight. Giving students 5 hours of fun to explore both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Island of Adventure.

But remember, with admission tickets, students can enter either park as early as 4 pm, which can add an additional 3 hours of fun and exploration of the parks!

It is important to note that Universal Studios Orlando doesn’t close early for their Gradventure event. This means that the general public will be in the two parks until the event’s official start at 7 pm.

Dress Code for Gradventure

Universal Studios does have a dress code for all attendees at the event. In simple terms, Universal wants all attendees to dress comfortable, with clothing that isn’t too revealing or that is going to obstruct safety equipment of the rides.

For Gradventure, Universal does recommend that students wear matching colored shirts with their school name/logo on the shirts. This makes it easier to find each other throughout the event night.

Universal Studios Orlando has a list of what is allowed and not permitted to wear and bring for Gradventure. Universal sticks to its dress code really well, so if you have something in question, it is best not to risk it.

Can Homeschoolers Go To GradVenture?

Yes! Universal Gradventure is open for all 8th graders whether they attend a public school, private school, or are home-schooled! Regardless of the educational path you are on, completing 8th grade is an accomplishment that should be celebrated.

What If A Student Requires Special Assistance?

Universal Studios Orlando does its best to be accommodating to all students, regardless of any assistance that they might need.

If there is a student within your group that requires assistance, or a disability that prevents them from waiting in the conventional attraction queue environment, then these are the following steps that Universal Orlando recommends you take.

Applications must be completed 30 days prior to the event date, otherwise additional steps may be needed to be completed.

But the guest (who needs accomodation) will need to have a IBCCES Individual Accessibility Card (IAC). This IAC can be obtained by registering at the accessibility card website. Once registration and documentation has been completed, then a Universal Orlando Team Member will contact the student to discuss their accomodation to ensure everything is in place.

Does Gradventure Include Food?

Yes! The student (and chaperone*) ticket includes a food voucher.

Students will have to use the food voucher before 11 pm. Otherwise, the voucher will be voided.

Gradventure is an excellent option for celebrating your 8th-grade graduation. Graduates get to enjoy early admission to the park (before the party officially starts), as well as shorter lines for popular attractions, an exclusive pathway to get from Universal Studios Orlando to Island of Adventure.

Additionally, graduates that attend Gradventure at Universal Studios, get to enjoy live entertainment, whether it’s DJ’s giving the opportunity to dance the night away, or the live street entertainers that can be found throughout both Universal parks. There is a lot to do during Gradventure.

Universal Studios Orlando recently released a first look at some of the food that will be offered at Epic Universe. Red the Traveler has the inside scoop, to give you all the mouth-watering details! So let’s take a look and see what delectable dishes we have to look forward to trying this May!

Epic Universe Food

One of the best things about visiting a theme park, is getting the fully immersive experience. Universal Studios does an excellent job and making the guests experience to be completely immersive, which includes having unique themed restaurants, dishes, and food options.

Some of the best food that I have ever had has been at a Universal Studios park (shoutout to Universal Studios Japan).

And with each Universal park that opens, event that takes place, or special holiday season, the Universal chefs are working hard year round to make new and improved dishes that will keep you coming back.

With the creation of Epic Universe, and their 5 different lands, the culinary wizards at universal had a mighty task to really step up and create unique and one of a kind dishes.

To which they have been extremely successful creating more then 100 dishes, that covers 30 different dining locations across the 5 new lands that are opening up!

Let’s take a look at each land, and some of the exciting food options that will be coming to each. I have everything divided by the land, and then I will also list what we know about each restaurant or location that will have the food.

Epic Universe Food: Celestial Park

Celestial Park is located in the center of the new park. Celestial Park is like a hub area to get to all of the other lands. But that doesn’t mean that you can just quickly dart through this area.

Celestial Park will offer 15 dining options, including Atlantic Restaurant, The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant, The Oak & Star Tavern, and more.

Now let’s take a look at what some of these eateries will be offering.

Atlantic Restaurant

The Atlantic Restaurant is located in Celestial Park, across from Neptune’s Pool. At the Atlantic Restaurant, you will find yourself transported to an underwater world. Where you can enjoy seafood and steak dishes, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The following items are some of the food options that we know will be served at the Atlantic Restaurant.

Sea Bass

Buttery portion of sea bass, served with lemongrass broth, starfruit slices offer tropical citrus flavors to compliment subtle notes of carrot mochi and crunch of sugar snap peas.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is expanding with this Ministry of Magic land. Offering some new and delicious places to refuel your magic as you explore the Ministry of Magic.

So far, we know of two different dining locations you can enjoy. The first is Café L’air De La Sirène, and the second is Le Gobelet Noir. There will likely also be more places to eat at the Ministry, but this is just what’s been released.

Café L’air De La Sirène

Enjoy a French Café with many of the best French food dishes. Additionally, you can enjoy Butterbeer, cocktails, and French wines.

Baguette de Dinde

A mouth-watering sandwich filled with cracked black pepper turkey, arugula, apples, and brie. Toasted together on a warm baguette.

CityWalk Osaka: Location

If you’ve visited Universal Studios Park in the United States, then you know that leading up to the park is a giant strip mall filled with shops, restaurants, and souvenir shops to explore.

Universal Studios Japan is the same. Between the JR Universal-City train station and the front gates to the park is CityWalk Osaka, a place where you can get last-minute souvenirs and some incredible food.

Because CityWalk Osaka is essentially attached to Universal Studios Japan, it is located on a port in Osaka Bay, right where the Aji River connects.

CityWalk Osaka: Takopa

Takopa at CityWalk Osaka, also known as Takopa Takoyaki Park, there are five of the best street food vendors in Osaka. They are in one area, so you don’t have to go through all of CityWalk to find them.

Located on the 4th floor of CityWalk Osaka, this is a spot that you will need to check out for food if you’re looking for nice authentic Japanese cuisine.

No reservation is needed to enter, but it is a popular spot, so don’t be surprised if there is a bit of a wait for your delicious food.

Universal CityWalk Osaka has some incredible restaurants! There is everything from classic American Style to Korean to classic Japanese restaurants and everything in between. You are bound to find something you like.

CityWalk Osaka has 2 floors dedicated to restaurants, quick service, and fast-food areas. Additionally, there are quite a few quick-service and fast-food options on the 3rd (ground) floor of CityWalk Osaka.

Let’s dive in and see what types of restaurants and quick-service options are available. The restaurants are organized by which floor they are on, so it will be easier to find and navigate when you get there.

There are so many different restaurants and eateries throughout CityWalk. There are a few on the ground (3rd) floor, but the top two floors are almost exclusive to restaurants.

You will be able to satisfy whatever you could be craving on the 4^th and 5^th floors.

When it comes to shops at CityWalk Osaka, you can find anything you need. From extra souvenirs (universal studios themed and Osaka-themed) to any last-minute things you forgot to pack (facewash, makeup, etc.).

Here are some of the shops that you can find throughout CityWalk. Most of the shops will be on the 3rd (ground) floor.

CityWalk Osaka: Parking

As mentioned earlier, the first two floors of the CityWalk area are dedicated to parking. It might sound like there are a lot of parking spots, but there are quite a few things offered in their parking garage area.

According to the Universal Studios Japan website, there are approximately 2,800 parking spaces, including an area for electric vehicles and one for oversized vehicles.

In addition to the parking, there is also an area for motorcycles and bicycles. Regardless of your transportation, you are sure to find a spot for you.

The parking garage usually opens about an hour and a half before the park opens and closes about two hours after the park closes.

If you have an oversized vehicle (5.6 meters or longer), you must reserve your parking spot at least 4 days in advance. As there are a limited number of spots for these oversized vehicles, I recommend calling ahead to reserve your spot.

Parking Fees

Next to finding a spot, knowing the cost ahead of time will help you budget accordingly.

The daily parking cost varies by day. Because of this, I recommend checking out their Parking Fee Calander.

The Parking Fee Calander only goes about a month in advance, which can make it tough to know the exact cost that it will be for your trip.

I have looked through March and April (2023), and the cost of standard parking was between ¥2,600 – ¥3,600.

Larger vehicles (5.6 meters or longer) will have a flat fee of ¥5,000.

Yes, it is free to enter CityWalk.

If you use the parking garage, the fee depends on the type of vehicle you have, along with the day of the week.

The parking garage does differ in fees depending upon the day. Thankfully there is a parking fee calendar that can help you budget the cost of parking.

How much are Universal City Walk tickets?

No ticket is needed to enter Universal CityWalk Osaka. A ticket is required to enter Universal Studios Japan, and you will need to pay for parking. However, CityWalk Osaka is free and open to the public.

What is the entry fee for TAKOPA?

Yes, entering Takopa is free! However, if you decide to order food, you will be paying for that.

Is there a stroller/wheelchair rental service available?

Currently, there is no rental service available for strollers and wheelchairs.

However, Universal Studios Japan has both stroller and wheelchair rentals at their Service center to the right of the park just after you enter the front gates.

Is it okay to bring my pet to the mall?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the mall or Universal Studios Japan. The only animals allowed are service animals, such as seeing-eye dogs, hearing dogs, and service dogs.

On Universal’s Website, they disclose that anyone with a pet and not a service animal may be approached by security.

How can I get to Tempozan and Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan?

From Universal CityWalk, it is easy to get to Tempozan and Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.

If you go to the opposite end CItyWalk Osaka of the JR Universal City Station, you should see a staircase. When you go down the stairs, you can see Hotel Universal Port, and the pier is behind the building.

From that Pier, Captain Line will take you over to the other end of the port where Tempozan and Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan are located.

This is the fastest way to get there. There are other alternative routes if you travel by train or car.

Is there a nursing room for diaper changing and breastfeeding?

Yes, on the 3rd floor, next to the restrooms, there is an area for those who need to breastfeed or change diapers.

It is completely free to use, private, and quite a nice area for mothers who need it.

At CityWalk Osaka, there are plenty of great options for food. If you are looking for it at the end of a full day of parks or just looking for a great spot to eat, stopping at CityWalk would be my recommendation.

Whether you are craving classic American food, like Hard Rock Café and Bubba Gump Shrimp, or prefer something more authentic like Fujin Raijin Ra-Men. Maybe you want to try some unique fusion food like UMUM Good Burritos!

No matter what your palette is craving, CityWalk Osaka is bound to have what you are looking for.

CityWalk Osaka doesn’t just have great food (even though that is a huge perk); it also has plenty of shopping! If you don’t have tickets for Universal Studios Japan, there are plenty of merchandise shops outside the parks where you can find some awesome merch.

For the Mardi Gras concerts, there is only one being held during a performance night and it starts at 8:30 pm, at the Music Plaza.

What To Expect At Universal Studios Mardi Gras

This year’s Mardi Gras event will hold all the same guest favorites while bringing in new and exciting features.

The Mardi Gras parade, featuring twelve parade floats, can be enjoyed almost nightly at Universal Studios. The 30th anniversary parade will feature six new floats inspired by the Krewes*.

Listed below are the specific times and days the parades begin.

The Mardi Gras parade will start at 6:15 pm on the following nights: February 5 – 9, February 12 – 16, and February 26 – March 2.

At 7:30 pm on the following nights: February 17, February 20 – 24; March 3, March 6 – April 16.

And at 7:45 pm on the following nights: February 4, February 10 – 11, February 18 – 19, and March 4 – 5. These nights are also concert nights.

Note: There will be no parade on Friday, March 31.

Mardi Gras Float Riding:

For guests that wish to have a unique Mardi Gras experience, Universal Studios is offering an opportunity for guests to ride on select parade floats.

There are limited spots available for this experience, so it is best to reserve it as soon as possible! Be sure to also check out the requirements to ride on the parade float to make sure you can do it.

The requirements for being able to participate are as follows:

• Guest must be 18 years of age
• Guest must be 48 inches or taller
• Guest must be able to stand for the whole duration of the float
• Guests with disabilities can request accommodations 48 hours prior to the event.
• No smoking, drinking or eating while on the float
• No strollers or large bags will be permitted on the floats

Guests who wish to have the ultimate Mardi Gras experience can opt for the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience.

During this experience, guests will be allowed to book a 3-course meal at a participating restaurant and ride in a Mardi Gras Parade Float (on the same night).

This experience is back from previous years and is a unique way to really maximize your fun during the Flavors of Carnival at Universal Studios Orlando.

Halloween season is a favorite season for many! Between scary horror movie nights, seeing haunted houses, and fall festivals, there is always something to do! What if you could combine it all into one giant event?

That is precisely what you get when you go to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando!

This post will specifically focus on all things related to Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando. We will go over costs, dates, what to expect, and the different ticket options so you can plan your best vacation.

What Are Halloween Horror Nights?

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studio Orlando is a separately ticketed event designed to bring the world of horror films to life. If you are a horror film fan, this is where you want to be!

The event takes place only during the fall on select nights, during the Halloween Season!

There are ten haunted houses with a different theme: five scare zones, each themed to bring different flights to life. Additionally, Halloween Horror Nights offers themed food, merchandise, and two live shows. This is an event that no Horror film fan will want to miss!

What Characters To Expect at Halloween Horror Nights

One of the big things that Universal Studios Orlando Halloween Horror Nights is known for (besides the haunted houses) is its characters, also known as Scareactors, who walk around and engage with the guests. 

These Scareactors are one of the main reasons why Universal Studios Orlando puts out a disclaimer that some of the events/scenes/etc. that happens during the event might be a little too intense for young children. Universal Studios doesn’t recommend the special event for children under the age of 13.

Universal Studios Orlando does not allow guests to dress up in any costumes during the event (Costume Guidelines Here). Guests will not be allowed to wear costumes or costume masks. This is to help keep the Halloween Horror scene intact.

Halloween Horror Nights Haunted Houses

Universal Studios Orlando always has ten different themed haunted houses for guests to enjoy. And this year, there are some incredible new themes to see on these horror nights. Which is a lot of haunted houses to go through!

Each haunted house has a different theme to cause guests to scream! Only a few of the themes for this year’s haunted houses has been announced (don’t worry we will update as information gets released!).

Halloween Horror Night Scare Zones

Halloween Horror Nights does more than just haunted houses! In addition to the haunted houses, Halloween Horror Night has what they call Scare Zones.

These Scare Zones are different areas throughout the park that are filled with ‘Scareactors’ that will do their best to keep your adrenaline high throughout the night.

Scareactors will lurk in the shadows, stalk, and scare you as you enter their specific Scare zone. Each scare zone has a different theme where there are different Scareactors to interact with.

The themes for the Scare Zones this year haven’t been announced yet, but be sure to check back frequently to get the latest information.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando: Dates

This year, Halloween Horror Nights starts at the end of August! Adding more nights to the popular event!

Now, it is important to know that this Halloween event takes place on most nights during September and October, with a few nights in November. For the 2025 Halloween season, there will be 48 events to enjoy!

Universal Studios Orlando has added an additional 16 events to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights! Which is absolutely insane, and a great way to get into the spooky season this year!

The dates for the 2025 Halloween Horror Nights Orlando are:
Aug 29 – 31.
Sept 3-7, 10-14, 16, 17, 19-21, 24-28.
Oct 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26, 29-31.
Nov 1, 2.

If you are eyeballing a night, then I recommend purchasing your tickets sooner rather than later. Some dates sell out quicker than others, so getting your tickets as soon as possible is best! More ticket information is listed below.

The cost of tickets varies by date as well, which is another reason to get your tickets quickly! The cost breakdown is also listed below.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando: Hours

Halloween Horror Nights start at 6:30 pm on select nights in September and October. The gates typically open about 30 minutes prior to the actual event starting.

Because the event is known to sell out on most nights, it is best to be there early in line with your tickets.

On busy nights (weekends), I would recommend getting there a minimum of an hour prior to the gates opening. And on weekdays, I would recommend getting there about 30-45 minutes prior to opening.

The event goes until 2 a.m., on all nights. This is an additional hour to what was overed last year for most nights.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando: Tickets

Now tickets for Halloween Horror Nights can get a little confusing, so let’s break it down.

There is only one admission ticket to purchase, but there are a few different add-ons for your tickets. Please keep in mind that these tickets, ticket types, and prices are only applicable to the Halloween Horror Night event happening at Universal Studios Orlando.

Halloween Horror Nights Single-Night Ticket

This is the basic admission ticket that you will need to attend the event. The standard single-night ticket can cost anywhere between $83 – $123 per ticket, depending upon the night.

When you purchase this ticket, you get to select the date that you attend the event. The tickets are non-transferable, with no refunds or exchanges. The event is scheduled to always happen, rain or shine.

It is important to note that this is not a ticket to attend Universal Studios Orlando or any of their parks, but just a ticket to get you into the separate event, Halloween Horror Nights.

Halloween Horror Nights Premium Scream Night

The Premium Scream Night ticket debuted last year, where for one night, guests can enjoy shorter wait times for the haunted houses.

On August 28, guests can enjoy a limited-capacity Halloween Horror Night event before the event officially starts. Not only is this night limited-capacity but there are also additional perks to going on this night.

In addition to shorter wait times, guests who attend Halloween Horror Nights on August 28, can also enjoy “All-you-care-to-enjoy” food and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as a unique souvenir to honor the exclusive evening.

Tickets for this special Premium Scream Night will sell out quickly, so be sure to get your tickets before they run out!

The ticket for this particular night is $390 per person.

Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass

This is an add-on ticket that is purchased with a single-night ticket. You can purchase this add-on pass alongside the basic admission ticket.

This Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass allows guests to skill the line once at all the haunted houses and select rides and attractions.

This add-on ticket costs $150 per person and can increase to $250 per person. The price depends on the date that you select to go.

Halloween Horror Nights R.I.P. Tour

This is a special V.I.P. tour that only happens during Halloween Horror Night.

This R.I.P. tour gives you a guided walking tour of the event with quite a few perks!

For starters, guests get to use a special VIP entrance into Universal Studios Florida, complimentary valet parking, pre-tour reception, unlimited express for participating attractions (to use before and after the tour), and a R.I.P Tour credential and exclusive pin.

The tour lasts about 5.5 hours (with one break) and gives you priority entry to all the haunted houses (once per house).

The R.I.P. tour is an add-on, so an actual admission ticket to the event will also have to be purchased in order to attend/go on the tour.

Like the other ticket options, the Halloween Horror Nights R.I.P. Tour cost varies by the date that you go. Ticket prices start at $400/per person and go as high as $480/per person.

*Note: Cancelation is required 48 hours before the selected night to receive a full refund.

Halloween Horror Nights Behind-the-Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour

This behind-the-scenes tour allows guests to explore the haunted houses during the daytime with the lights on.

This tour lets guests see everything that goes into the Halloween Horror Night Haunted Houses.

The fantastic thing about this is that theme park tickets to Universal Studios Orlando or Halloween Horror Night Orlando tickets are not required to participate in the tour.

There are two different Horror Tours that you can pick from. Either a 3-house tour or a 6-house tour. Regardless of which one you choose, you will only be able to see some of the different haunted houses available to guests who attend the after-hours event.

Universal Studios Orlando has stated that whether you to the house tour in the morning or in the afternoon, the same haunted houses will be toured by guests. 

3-House Tour

If you wish to participate in a 3-house tour, you do need to reserve your time slot before arrival. There are usually a variety of different time slots starting at 8:30 am until about 1:45 pm.

When you purchase the ticket for the house tour, then you will need to select a time for the tour. Times do vary by availability depending on the date selected.

The 3-house tour lasts about 2.5 hours, and groups can have up to 12 guests per tour. Additionally, guests are able to photograph in select rooms.

With select dates still available for September and October. However, I would still recommend reserving your spot and buying tickets sooner rather than later.

The cost does fluctuate based on the date that you select. The cost per person can be anywhere between $85 to $130.

6-House Tour

The 6-house tour is available for guests who wish to see more houses. The tour lasts 5 hours and guests get a 45-minute break.

Just like the 3-house tour, tour groups can be up to 12 guests per group. And guests can also photograph select rooms.

The cost of the 6-house tour starts at $180 but can go up to $230 per person, depending on the date.

Again, seeing all ten haunted houses is only available for guests who actually attend the event.

Scream Early Ticket

This new ticket is offered at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando. This ticket allows you early access to Universal Studios Florida. 

Get access to Universal Studios Florida from 3 pm – 5 pm. Since the event starts at 6 p.m., guests will have to wait in a Stay & Scream area until the event begins.

An admission ticket to Halloween Horror Nights is needed to be able to stay for the event. The Scream Early Ticket is a ticket add-on that is purchased in addition to the general admission ticket.

The Scream Early Ticket is $55 per person, regardless of what day of the event you attend.

NOTE: For the 2025 Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando, they haven’t announced if Halloween Horror Nights Fear Passes will be returning. The information below is from previous Halloween Horror Nights.

Halloween Horror Nights Fear Passes

This 2024 Halloween season is the second year that Universal Studios Orlando is going to be offering four different types of ‘season’ passes for the halloween season, called a Fear Pass.

Each different Fear Pass will allow you to enter the event for a certain number of nights.

There are two different options when purchasing your fear pass, which is just the fear pass or to purchase the fear pass with an express pass. Obviously, the fear pass with the express pass costs more money.

Let’s break them down to see if it is worth it for you to invest in one.

Halloween Horror Nights Rush of Fear Pass

This is the lowest fear pass offered. It gives you access to up to the first 18 nights of the event.

Rush of Fear Dates:
August 30, 31.
September 1, 4 – 8, 11 – 15, 18 – 22.

Rush of Fear Cost: $180
Rush of Fear with Express: $610

When you purchase the Rush of Fear Pass, whether online or at the gate, you will need to select a date for the pass to start. Once selected, the pass will be valid from that that date on through the selected nights the pass is valid.

Since the cost for a single ticket to Halloween Horror Nights starts at around $83, as long as you plan to attend more then one night, this Fear Pass will pay for itself as just the base pass.

If you plan on purchasing it with the Express then you should plan on going for at least 4 or so nights for the pass to essentially pay for itself, or make it a good investment.

Of course, this all depends on which nights you plan to attend.

Halloween Horror Nights Frequent Fear Pass

This ‘season’ pass gets you up to 30 nights of experiencing the Horrors. Where you get access to every Sunday – Thursday event night, plus the first weekend of Halloween Horror Nights.

The Frequent Fear Plus Pass gives you up to 40 nights of frightful fun! That’s right, this pass allows you to go to Halloween Horror Nights for nearly every night of the event.

September 1, 4 – 6, 8, 11-13, 15, 18 – 20, 22, 25 – 27, 29.

Halloween Horror Nights Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass

The Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass gives you up access to every night of Halloween Horror Nights for the 2024 spooky season! With the Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass you can enjoy 48 nights filled with scream-filled horror.

The only night that this pass won’t get you access to, is the Premium Night on August 29, 2024.

Additionally, guests with this Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass get free regular parking after 5 p.m. on event nights!

Do You Need A Universal Ticket For Halloween Horror Nights?

Going to Universal Studios for the day and attending Universal Studios Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights are different.

Universal Studios Orlando Halloween Horror Nights are different from other events at Universal Studios Orlando and are considered separately-ticketed events.

This means that if you have a general admission ticket to visit Universal Studios Orlando on the day that the event is taking place, you will NOT be able to attend the event without having purchased an additional ticket.

But if you have tickets to Universal Studios Orlando’s Halloween Horror Night event, you will be able to get in the park when the event starts.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando: Cost

Ticket prices vary by the type of ticket that you get, and the night on which you are attending.

As stated earlier, one thing that causes prices to change in tickets is which night you go on. Prices vary starting at $83, and can be as high as $123.

If you purchase any additional add-ons, such as the Express Pass, or the R.I.P tour, then the cost will also increase.

The cost for Express Pass during the event range from $150 – $240. The cost for a R.I.P tour range from $330 – $450.

Both the Express Pass and R.I.P. Tour costs do not include admission to the even. Which means you will need to purchase a single-night ticket for the same day that you also purchase an Express Pass, or schedule a R.I.P. Tour.

The names and dates on multiple-date tickets must be the same. Tickets to the event are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you attempt to use your date-specific ticket for the wrong day or with a person other than the name on the ticket, you will not be allowed to enter the park.

Is Halloween Horror Nights in both Universal parks?

Universal Studios Orlando consists of 2 theme parks at one water park. When there are separately ticketed events, it is important to know which park you need to go to.

For Halloween Horror Nights, the event takes place in the main park, Universal Studios Orlando.

During the event, you will be unable to go from one park to another and must stay in the Universal Studios park.

What is the theme for Halloween Horror Nights 2024?

For the year 2024, Universal Studios Orlando hasn’t announced a theme.

Be sure to check back when the theme gets released; I will be sure to update it.

Can you go on rides during Halloween Horror Nights?

Yes! If you need to take a break from the thills, screams, and scares there are a few select rides that will be open during Halloween Horror Nights.

Keep in mind that not all of the rides will be open for guests to enjoy. The best tip would be to check-in and see if there is a list of rides when you enter the event.

Also, the whole park will not be fully decorated in Halloween decor. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter area, for example, will not be decorated for the event but will be open for guests to enjoy.

Can you go to Islands of Adventure during Halloween Horror Nights?

During Halloween Horror Nights, Islands of Adventure does have its regular park house for the day. They do not close early for the special event because the event is in the other park. However, this doesn’t mean that guests are allowed to go from park to park during the event.

If you just have a Halloween Horror Nights ticket, then no you cannot go to Islands of Adventure as park hopping is not allowed. If you have a general admission park-to-park ticket to Universal Studios Orlando, then when the park closes for the Halloween Horror Nights, you can go to Islands of Adventure.

How scary is Halloween Horror Nights?

The scare level of Halloween Horror Nights is going to vary from person to person.

Yes! Halloween Horror Nights, and all of their haunted houses, are fully accessible via wheelchair. If you have an electric wheelchair, or electric scooter (ECV), then you must be willing to transfer to a wheelchair when you are going through the haunted houses.

Do they sell alcohol on Halloween horror nights?

Yes, some bars and locations do sell beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages during the event. However, like during general admission during the day, alcohol is only permitted in certain areas and is banned from others.

Be mindful of this and always drink responsibly.

Can you go to Halloween Horror Nights while Pregnant?

First and foremost, if you have any questions or concerns about going to Halloween Horror Nights while pregnant, consult your doctor. No advice that I can give is designed to replace or override what you and your doctor discuss.

With that being said, it generally is safe for a pregnant woman to go through a haunted house, as long as she keeps her body safe. The biggest concern would be other guests getting scared and bumping into you while pregnant.

The Wrap Up: Halloween Horror Night Orlando

Halloween Horror Nights will return to Universal Studios Orlando this year (2024) for select nights from August to November. Tickets recently went on sale; I recommend buying tickets sooner rather than later, as nights tend to sell out quickly.

This is a special seasonal event that horror and Halloween fans won’t want to miss. It will bring new haunted houses, horror, and thrill scenes right before your eyes!

This special ticketed event will occur from 6 pm to 2 am. If you don’t have tickets to the event, be mindful of when the event is taking place, as it will affect the hours for general admission in the main park.

Universal Studios is a great theme park for all ages to enjoy. But did you know that Universal Studios also offers a special private Grad Bash for graduating 8th graders and high schooler Seniors?

Yes! For a few nights every spring, Universal Studios puts on a Grad Bash for graduating high school seniors, and they also have a few nights for 8th graders to celebrate.

This post will go over both of the Grad Bashes for high school seniors. The one held at Universal Studios Hollywood, as well as the one in Orlando. Additionally, it will also touch on the Grad Bash for 8th graders; Jr Grad Bash, and Gradventure.

What is Grad Bash at Universal?

Now you might wonder, what exactly is Grad Bash at Universal Studios? Which is a fair question.

Here is a little promotional video that Universal Studios Hollywood put together a few years ago to promote Grad Bash at Universal.

Essentially, it is a special private ticketed event specifically for those that are graduating. Very similar to the Disneyland Grad Nights.

Hollywood Studios Grad Bash

The original Universal Studios is located in Hollywood, California. Why not celebrate graduating high school at an exclusive private event called Grad Bash!

This Grad Bash is available for graduating seniors within Southern California. Designed to be a night filled with fun at Universal Studios, specifically dedicated to the graduating class of 2023.

Sounds great right? Let’s break down what makes this Hollywood Grad Bash a great option for something else.

What’s Included At Grad Bash Hollywood

Alright, so if having a private event after hours at Universal Studios wasn’t enough for your graduating senior to want to attend, here are some of the things that are included in the ticket.

For starters, it is a private event, meaning only those graduating seniors who have admission tickets and the chaperones are allowed in. The general public that visits that day, will leave at the end of the day, while the seniors are just getting the party started.

All of the attractions throughout the park are going to be available to the guests of the event. Which means shorter wait times! This makes it so much easier to enjoy all of the rides that the parks have to offer.

There will also be live music throughout the park, with various DJs for those who want to get their dance on!

Additionally, there are photo ops located throughout the park. Each photo op is themed specifically for the Class of 2023, making it extra special.

And if that wasn’t enough, it is important to know that for every 15 student admission tickets sold, groups will receive 1 free chaperone ticket. This can be a nice perk as chaperones have their own lounge and goodies to enjoy during the event as well.

Universal Studios Grad Bash: Hollywood Tickets

There are two ticket options available for students to choose from. With an additional breakfast add-on ticket option for those that are interested.

The first basic ticket costs $89. It is considered a general admission ticket. This ticket allows graduates to enter the park at 4 pm. There is still access to all the rides, photo ops, and other fun things during the event.

The other ticket option is called a Premium Package and costs $119. This premium ticket allows you admission into the park when the park opens. As well as includes a meal voucher and an exclusive souvenir tote bag.

There is an additional add-on for guests that wish to add Breakfast to the end of the Bash. Since the bash ends in the early AM. There is an option to add breakfast to their experience. This breakfast add-on costs $45 and is served from 2 am to 4 am.

What Are The Dates For Grad Bash

There are only 5 dates that Universal Studios Hollywood is going to be putting on this Grad Bash in 2023. Meaning that if you want to attend, it is best to register ASAP so that there is a higher chance of getting the date and tickets that you want.

What Time is Grad Bash at Universal Hollywood?

The private Grad Bash event officially starts around 9 pm. The park closes to the general public at 8 pm. The Grad Bash goes on until 2 am.

This gives students a total of 5 hours to enjoy the parks during the private event. With the option of up to 12 hours if guests enter the parks at 4 pm and purchase the breakfast bash option lasting till 4 am.

It is important to remember that once the event has started and students enter the event, they are not permitted to leave the event until the event is over.

Universal Studios Orlando Grad Bash

Very similar to the Grad Bash at Universal Studios Hollywood, but times two and amplified!

The Orlando Studios Grad Bash allows guests to explore two of the parks with admission tickets to the event. That’s right 2 parks with private event tickets!

Now if you don’t know, Universal Studios Orlando has 3 parks total. 2 theme parks and 1 water park. Tickets to the Grad Bash get you admission to the 2 theme parks! How awesome is that?!

There is also an option to upgrade the experience to be able to go to the water park as well. But more on that later.

Universal Studio Grad Bash: Orlando Tickets

No ticket information has been released by Universal Studios Orlando.

Their website does state that for every 10 student tickets that are sold, the school will receive 1 free chaperone ticket to the event.

But other than that there is not much more information on tickets.

What’s Included In Universal Studios Grad Bash Orlando

There is a Grad Bash ‘Mix-In’ party that allows guests to enter the parks at 4 pm.

There is even an exclusive path for guests and chaperones to go from one park to the next.

Live entertainment and DJs are going to be present in both of the parks during the nights of the Grad Bash.

Universal Studios Grad Bash: Dates

This Grad Bash is only available for 4 nights during March and April, so it is important to secure your tickets as soon as you can to ensure that you get the date that you want.

Some of the dates listed could be sold out. I do not hold any information on which dates are sold out, and which nights are still available. It is best to contact Universal Studios directly for this information.

Universal Studios Grad Bash: Orlando Hours

This event is a long one! But that doesn’t mean that time can’t go by super fast! As I say with Disneyland After-Hour events, always plan ahead to capitalize the most of the night.

Guests are allowed to enter the parks a 4 pm the day of the event. The event officially starts at 7 pm and goes until 2 am.

Since this event is held between two different parks, it really is best to have at least a general game plan for rides when attending the event.

Middle School Options For Grad Bash

Universal Studios goes above and beyond when it comes to graduates, as they also throw Grad Bashes for those who graduate middle school!

Just like with Grad Bash for high school seniors, they are private events to celebrate those graduating. Registration and purchase of a ticket are required ahead of time.

And there are these special events in both parks, in Hollywood and Orlando.

Jr Grad Bash – Hollywood

The Grad Bash option for middle schoolers closest to Universal Studios Hollywood is called Jr. Grad Bash.

With many of the same perks as the Grad Bash for High School Seniors, this Grad Bash is dedicated to the graduating 8th graders. Giving them their very own private event to celebrate their accomplishments.

What’s Included In Jr Grad Bash Hollywood

Like with the Universal Studios Grad Bash for graduating Seniors, the Jr. Grad Bash has special themed photo ops for students.

There are dance parties for students to enjoy as well. The dance parties will be hosted by various DJs.

Additionally, there are many chaperone benefits that come with being a chaperone.

These benefits include (but aren’t limited to):
-Free Parking with Admission
-Universal Express Unlimited Access (only during the event hours)
-Private Chaperone Lounge area which includes a complimentary massage chair, while also serving food and drinks.

Schools that register are offered one free Chaperone park admission for every 15 paid students that attend the event.

Universal Studios prides itself on creating a safe and sober environment for students to have fun.

For any wondering parents, there is a Sheriff’s Substation on Universal Studios’ property, and students won’t be able to leave the property during the event, except for emergencies. This allows the environment to stay safe.

Universal Studios Jr. Grad Bash: Dates

The dates for the Junior Grad Bash are limited to only two nights. If you wish for your 8th grader to attend, it is best to register for the event as soon as possible.

Fewer dates mean more likely that it will sell out quickly.

Universal Studios Jr. Grad Bash: Tickets

There are two ticket options available to students who wish to attend.

The basic ticket costs $69 and allows students to enter the park at 4 pm.

This is a few hours prior to the event actually starting. Allowing students to enjoy more time in the park.

The other ticket option is a premium ticket. A premium ticket costs $93 and allows students to enjoy a full day of park admission.

Meaning that students can enjoy Universal Studios from the park opening until the end of the event.

Additionally, the premium ticket also includes a meal voucher and a souvenir bag which is custom to the Grad Bash event.

There also are additional add-on dining options for before and after the event at select restaurants at the City Walk. These do cost an additional fee though, so keep that in mind when booking these add-ons.

Universal Studios Jr. Grad Bash: Hours

There currently isn’t any information on the specific hours that the private Jr Grad Bash event takes place, which includes Universal’s own website for the event.

The Universal Studios website, it does list that the basic ticket allows guests in early at 4 pm. Which is the same as the regular Universal Studios Grad Bash event.

It seems that it would be safe to say that the event starts at 7 pm and goes until 2 am like the other grad bash, but again there is no information listed yet on specific times.

It is best to contact Universal Studios directly to get specific details about the event.

Gradventure – Orlando

Gradventure is the Grad Bash at Universal Studios Orlando for middle school graduates.

They are guaranteeing to create a safe and fun environment for the graduating 8th-grade class.

What’s Included in Gradventure

Like with the other Grad Bashes at Universal Studios, guests with tickets to the private event are able to enter the theme parks prior to the start of the event starting.

Students can enter the parks as early as 4 pm, and have a special pathway to go from both parks. This also means that students that are attending Gradventure are going to have access to both theme parks in Orlando!

Additionally, a dinner voucher is included with the cost of the event making it easier for students to eat during the event.

The basic ticket allows students to enter the parks as early to maximize their time in the park.

There is nowhere on the Universal Studios website that actually lists the cost of the event without giving information to register for the event.

This event is only taking place for 3 nights at Universal Studios Orlando. If you wish to secure your tickets then I recommend that you act fast because tickets are likely to sell out quickly.

After evaluating all of the perks that each Hollywood and Orlando have to offer to the graduating classes for a Grad Bash, I would definitely say that the Grad Bash is worth it.

Universal Studios, regardless of which park you attend, has really put a lot into the planning and execution of this special private event for graduates. I mean just having full access to the park(s) with limited attendance is incredible!

It is definitely something that I wish was available for me when I graduated 8th grade or high school.

Who Is Eligible To Attend Grad Bash?

To attend Universal Studios Grad Bash in Hollywood, schools need to register at their website here.

In order to attend in Southern California the billing zip code of the card that is used to pay for the reservation does need to have a California zip code. This does limit attendants to just those in California.

Additionally, schools, whether public, private, or homeschooled must pre-register in order to be able to attend. There will not be any entrance for students who don’t have tickets that haven’t preregistered for the event.

But that goes for both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando.

Is There A Dress Code?

The dress code for the Universal Studios Grad Bash events can be a little complicated. Each park, and each event holds a slightly different dress code for students to abide by.

Generally speaking, Universal recommends that students wear comfortable and casual clothing to the event.

For Universal Orlando, Grad Bash. There is a specific requirement that they expect students to follow. The dress code can be found here; dress code PDF.

It is recommended that the schools show those PDFs to participating students prior to leaving for the event.

Universal also states that if there is any student that isn’t wearing something that is appropriate that the student will be directed to the store to purchase something that is appropriate in order to enter the parks.

What Is There For Chaperones To Do?

It seems that chaperones at Hollywood and Orlando are going to have different experiences.

Universal Studios Orlando, states on its website that the chaperones are responsible and are supposed to help enforce that students are following the rules keeping it a drug-free and alcohol-free party. The Grad Bash is classified as a school event, therefore the chaperones are in charge.

Universal Studios Hollywood, is another story. Chaperones that attend the event in Hollywood, not only get free admission (when the appropriate number of students’ tickets get sold) but also have their own private lounge to relax in. Chaperones also get access to Universal Express Unlimited which shortens the wait times.

Additionally, these Hollywood Grad Bash chaperones can enjoy what is called VIP extras. The VIP extras include snacks and drinks all night long, as well as complimentary breakfast, games, and giveaways.
